Tauranga Police CIB Annual Charity Luncheon
The Tauranga Police CIB Charity Luncheon has a long history of giving to charities throughout the Bay of Plenty. Since Detective Sergeant Peter Blackwell launched the first Luncheon in 1995 as a police social club fundraiser, the event has grown to become one of New Zealand’s premier fundraising events with over $890,000 being raised for charitable trusts across New Zealand.
This year, 2010, the total raised is expected to exceed $1 million.
